Dirty Dancing was my favorite movie growing up. I saw it like 5 times in the theatre so needless to say I was stoked to run into the set of the movie this weekened at Lake Lure ,NC ( in the movie its supposed to be NY). I could still recognize Johnnys cabin and the stairs where the watermelon scene was filmed. Apparently The Last of the Mohocans was filmed pretty close by too. Who knew??
